Since Flagg decided to reclass into the 2025 draft, he has been labelled the #1 for this draft class. Now that we have been able to see a bit from him in training camp, he has proven to live up to these expectations and is even still impressing scouts with his potential to do things scouts once thought weren’t a part of his game.
Bailey is a very intriguing prospect and has fans and many scouts who are very interested in his game, development, and overall potential. He has consistently been considered if not a top 3 then a top 5 pick. If Bailey can show improvement in his decision-making, shot selection and flashes of a more consistent 3 point shot, he should prove the top 3 hype to be true and be a very strong contender to be the second overall pick.
Opinions of Harper seem to be fairly split with fans loving his game pushing for him to be a lock for a top 3 pick while some scouts are skeptical if he is a fit for the NBA. Harper will look to put this skepticism to rest and if he can prove to be a top end playmaker while showing strong and consistent flashes and improvement on attacking the rim and his outside shooting, he should still be in contention to be a top 3 pick come draft day.
Demin is a tall 6'9 playmaking PG that plays at his own pace. Demin is also a player with a high valuable floor but also a high ceiling for his potential. Teams will most likely fall in love with Demin because of his blend of size, ball skills, shot-making, and decision making out of the pick-and-roll. Demin may have locked himself in the lottery with real potential as a top 5 pick and a chance for consideration for #1 if he continues to show improvement on both ends of the court.
Jakucionis is a jumbo guard with elite passing vision, playmaking and great shot making ability. It was questioned how he would transition to college basketball and he has proven he is more than capable. Scouts were also unsure on him finding the right balance between passing and looking for his own shot which hasn't been as smooth, but is easily trending in the right direction. Jakucionis is elite at getting to the free throw line and he has insanely high shooting splits. He is able to play on-ball and off-ball which will help for a seamless fit in the NBA.
